The Ravens Foundation, Inc. is committed to improving, encouraging and enabling the healthy development of youth in Maryland. The foundation focuses on programs that help youth and their families with various needs, including housing, hunger, education, athletics and mentoring.
As an extension of the work currently executed by the Maryland Book Bank, the Ravens Bookmobile will deliver new and gently-used books to children living in under-resourced communities who may not otherwise have access to these resources. All books on the Bookmobile will be sorted according to grade level, so that students will have the opportunity to select books of their choice, with the hope of increasing interest and commitment to reading. The Bookmobile continues the Ravens' long-standing commitment to supporting education and literacy. Last year, the Ravens unveiled a school library restoration at Charles Carroll Barrister Elementary #34 totaling over $200,000 in renovations. In addition to the more than $100,000 investment the Ravens made in the Bookmobile, the team also committed $25,000 to the Maryland Book Bank for upkeep and maintenance of the vehicle.
The Baltimore Ravens established this scholarship program to enable local youth to continue their education on a collegiate level. The team has a long-standing history of service to local communities, and this fund will support those who do the same. In addition, this renewable scholarship will be based on financial need and academic achievement. The $5,000 scholarship is renewable, and open to high school seniors who attend Baltimore City, Baltimore County or Carroll County public high schools. Applicants must also be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
Perfect for birthdays, anniversaries or any special occasion (excluding proposals and company advertising), "Caws for Celebration" allows fans to post a special 8 word message at a Ravens home game. "Caws for Celebration" can now be purchased online for $100 with all proceeds benefitting the Ravens Foundation. All "Caws for Celebration" messages will be displayed on the upper deck corner video boards during halftime.
In 2026, as part of the Ravens Signature Project, the Ravens Foundation invested $100,000 into enhancing community centers at Patterson Park in downtown Baltimore. This full-staff initiative focused on painting and building new furniture for the Virginia S. Baker Recreation Center and the Catalyst Center, upgrading the recreation facilities, and improving the surrounding community spaces. This project continues a longstanding tradition of community investment, with past renovations at sites such as Green Street Academy (2025) The Historic Samuel Coleridge-Taylor Elementary School (2024), Morrell Park Elementary/Middle and Recreation Center (2023), Franklin Square Elementary/Middle (2022), Curtis Bay Elementary (2021), Edgecombe Circle (2020–21), Webster Kendrick Boys & Girls Club (2019), Douglass Homes (2018), Mary Ann Winterling Elementary (2017), the Ravens Bookmobile (2016), and Charles Carroll Barrister Elementary #34 (2015). Additionally, the Ravens Foundation awards $100,000 in grants to local nonprofits dedicated to promoting youth physical activity and nutrition education.
